Weekend Review

Let's recap!

Friday night, I cheated on my diet and Ryan and I went for dinner at Abuelo's. I can't remember the last time I went there. I had queso and beer and fajitas...and then promptly felt guilty as soon as we walked out the door.

Next stop, Best Buy for my long overdue Christmas present.

She's beautiful. And seriously fun. I Facetimed my whole family over the weekend, told Siri to set my alarm clock and remind me about appointments, and stayed glued to my faster Facebook and email accounts. I also bought this today to go with it:



Saturday I was up bright and early for bootcamp, then Ashlie and Katy Jo and I went to the OKC Animal Shelter to volunteer with the AEP group. We bathed puppies and dogs, and played with them in the observation rooms. It was heartbreaking.

Katy named this one "Fiona."



A few hours later, Ashlie needed help creating table centerpieces for her company's party that night. We met her over at the Jim Thorpe Museum and made them out of top hats, roses, hydrangeas, feathers and gold swirl sticks. They turned out great!

I was exhausted when we were done, so I came home for awhile. Ryan made plans with Josh and Jana that night, so we met them at Republic to watch the Thunder game and catch up. It was a lot of fun.

Sunday was a waste of my life...I spent half the afternoon at Best Buy, so they could try to figure out why my laptop was shutting off every time I tried to sync my new phone. I ran errands at Target and Walmart, then rented Midnight in Paris and cooked dinner at home.
