First stop, Texas Roadhouse for dinner. Just like the old days. :) My diet got thrown out the window over the course of the next few days.
After dinner, we went back to Josh and Jana's for a bit. I finally got to see her nursery (adorable) and the girls all spent some time trying to feel Harrison kick. At one point I felt his body move along my hand and it was the coolest thing.
Jessica and Jim brought a present with them, since Jess can't make the shower next weekend.
On Saturday morning, I woke up early to stand in line at a new store, "Nothing Bundt Cakes." The first 50 customers got a punch card for free cake for a year. It's actually one "bundtlett" per month, which is a small personal-sized bundt cake that costs $3.99. For a whole year, I will get about $48 worth of free cake. Not bad! It's soooo yummy. I bought a dozen mini bundtinis while I was there to take back to the group. My favorite is the red velvet and the chocolate chocolate chip.
When I got home, we all headed back to Josh and Jana's house. The boys left to go shoot guns on the land in Shawnee, and the girls stayed behind and had a full day of girl talk. We seriously didn't do anything - we went for lunch, and then came back to the house and talked and talked and talked. It was a lot of fun, we covered a wide range of girly subjects. We watched wedding videos and talked about babies and boys, and even googled a natural childbirth (NOT a good idea, we were screaming in horror and trying to look away, but we couldn't not watch!)
The guys came back later that afternoon, and we got ready for a night out at The Mont.
I'm tired of uploading photos, I'll come back and post the Mont ones soon :)
We stayed until around 11pm, and then we were so exhausted. Home by midnight and in bed immediately. Oh, how times have changed.
