I just spent like an hour reading through Jen Collier's blog....such a sweet family. I finally met her this weekend at Rhiannon's engagement party in Tulsa, which was a blast!

The restaurant was really cool. I thought it was Italian...but the building looked more like Old Spain....and thinking about it now, the name Ti Amo.....is it Spanish? Or Italian?
Anyway, we had our own back room that we got to decorate with votives, mirrors and picture frames with black and white pics of Rhi and Travis. Jen also painted big wood "L's" in eggplant, which is one of Rhiannon's wedding colors and set them up with the pictures. We ordered cupcakes that had little engagement rings made out of fondant on the top. So cute! Everyone dressed up and the food was excellent. We had a champagne toast and my table had Jen and her husband, Amelia and her boyfriend and Rhiannon and Travis. The cool table!
I got to meet Justin's wife, Lindsay and Kasi, and some people Rhiannon works with. The only snag was at the end of the meal when our server, who didn't speak much English, was trying to divide the bill. Some people didn't show up and we still had to cover their food. Oh, well. I need to learn to let money issues go.....life is short.

After dinner, we went to Brookside to this place called Bru House. I called KJ and told him to meet up with us and we all had a blast. One of Travis' friends (or cousin??) decided to pick up the bar tab for Rhiannon and I, so needless to say I was pretty hammered by the time we left. Haha!
Sunday was nice....besides the hangover. We slept in and then went to Chili's to eat lunch. We came home and watched Vicki Christina Barcelona, which made me want to go to Europe really bad. Maybe Rhiannon and I can go for a joint 30th birthday party with some friends.....to Barcelona....Paris.....ahhhhhh. It was a pretty good movie, I have to say.
Now I'm really dis-satisfied with my blog. I want it to be cool, like the Collier blog. I don't know how to change it though :(
